The Central Park Book Club meets (almost) every 4th Monday of the month to discuss books across all genres. Join the group and create a space to talk about and enjoy reading!
This month, we will be discussing Bite by Bite by Aimee Nezhukumatathil: "In Bite by Bite, poet and essayist Aimee Nezhukumatathil explores the way food and drink evoke our associations and remembrances--a subtext or layering, a flavor tinged with joy, shame, exuberance, grief, desire, or nostalgia."
Bite by Bite is also Santa Clara's Big Read for 2025-2026! Please join us for an author talk, Q&A and book signing with Aimee Nezhukumatathil on Saturday, September 27, at 11 a.m. The first 50 attendees at the author talk will receive a free copy of the book.
If you are interested in discussing Bite by Bite but are not available on September 22 for our Central Book Club, we will be hosting additional discussions at our Mission Branch Library on October 11 and our Northside Branch Library on October 30. Registration is not required for these events. Please email librarians@santaclaraca.gov with any questions.
