Explore the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge

Did you know there is a national wildlife refuge right in your backyard?

Sloughkeepers President Eric B. Norris presents "Exploring the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge," a multi-media program on visiting the ecological gem of the South S.F. Bay. Eric will show how us how to explore the Newark and Alviso segments of the refuge, including kayaking Newark, Corkscrew, and Alviso Slough, and you'll see video shot from kayaks there. You'll learn how to best see the famous South Bay ghost town of Drawbridge, and what hiking/biking trails are best for you.
