Genealogy Beginner's Seminar: Part 2

Wednesday, April 2, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Central Park Library Redwood Room.

Learn the importance of the U.S. Census to follow your ancestors. This session will take you through the U.S. Census from 1790 through 1940.  Learn what to do with the information and how to follow the clues about your ancestors.  The session will also explore the different Genealogy websites, such as Rootsweb, Ancestry and Family Search.  We will explain the different types of information available, free and paid, and how to evaluate its accuracy.

The class is free, but you must pre-register. No Walk-ins will be accepted. To register, go to the SCCHGS Genealogy Classes webpage or call 1-408-615-2986 and leave your name and phone or email.  Last day to pre-register is March 28th.

This class is sponsored by the Santa Clara County Historical & Genealogical Society (SCCHGS).
