Be inspired- Movie at Mission Library

Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday is on Thursday, January 15. To celebrate his birthday , join us in watching this inspiring  movie (released in 1996) based on the book, "Selma, Lord, Selma: Girlhood Memories of the Civil-Rights Days” by Sheyann Webb, Rachel West and Frank Sikora. It recounts Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, through the eyes of a 13 year old girl.

The movie is rated TV-PG.
