The Central Book Club is the Library's general book club for adults. We read a mix of fiction and nonfiction throughout the year in different genres. Join us for a casual space to talk about and enjoy reading!

This book club meets (almost) every fourth Monday of the month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Central Park Library's Board Room on the second floor. Registration is not required.

The ESL Book Club is a fun opportunity to practice your English reading, speaking and listening skills. Join us to meet new people and discuss award-winning novels, nonfiction books, and classic American/English books. We look forward to seeing you!

Join us to talk about the best and worst romance novels you've read this month! (Or last month. Or in your lifetime. We love Happily Ever Afters!)

Unlike a traditional book club, there is no assigned book each month—simply come ready to talk about the romance books you've loved, tropes you will read again and again, subgenres you enjoy, and your favorite romance authors!

This group meets at the Mission Branch Library on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Registration is not required.

Have your own book club? Check out a book club kit from the Library! We have multiple titles to choose from (fiction and nonfiction). Each kit contains eight copies of the same book along with suggested discussion questions to help your next book club meeting run smoothly. The kits can be checked out for six weeks (no renewals).

Book club kits are available at the Customer Service desk at Central Park Library (first floor). Patrons at Northside, Mission or the Bookmobile can place a hold on the kits to pick up at their preferred location.
