Under guidance from the County Public Health Department in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus), all libraries are closed and bookmobile service is suspended until May 3, 2020.

About the Bookmobile
In October 2016, the Irvine Company donated $250,000 to the City to purchase a Bookmobile to restart and update bookmobile to the City.
The former service model relied on neighborhood stops and schools. The new re-envisioned bookmobile service will meet the changing community needs and serve people where they live, learn, work and play.
The Library proposes morning service to neighborhoods and senior facilities, lunchtime service to corporate campuses, afternoon stops to schools, and evening and weekend stops at city and community events and bustling live-shop-work developments.
Bookmobile service will provide critical access to books and resources that promote early childhood literacy, will enrich the lives of our seniors, and be a gateway for low income residents and new immigrants to a world of reading, learning and information. The bookmobile not only will extend the reach of the library but will provide a platform to communicate and strengthen access to city services.
No bookmobile service until further notice
