About the Bookmobile

The Santa Clara City Library’s Bookmobile meets the changing needs of the community and serves people where they live, learn, work and play. 

Our Bookmobile provides mobile library services to neighborhoods, senior facilities, schools, City and community events, and live/shop/work developments throughout Santa Clara. You can sign up for a new library card, learn about library services, and check out or return library materials at the Bookmobile.

The Bookmobile offers critical access to books and resources that promote early childhood literacy, enrich the lives of our seniors, and provide a gateway for low-income residents and new immigrants to a world of reading, learning and information.  The Bookmobile does not only extend the reach of the Library but also creates a platform to communicate and strengthen access to City services.
