It’s never too late to learn to read and write better! If you need help, you are not alone.

Read Santa Clara services are free. Work with a trained volunteer tutor at a time that is good for you. Learn to read and write better so you can read to a child, fill out forms, understand health information, apply for jobs online, use your smart phone, and more. Tutors meet with learners one-to-one or in small groups.

• are 18 or older
• are not in high school or in a degree-granting program
• speak and understand English 
• need basic reading, writing and math help
• meet with a tutor for two hours a week

 The dates for orientations to learn more about the program are:
